Nia Ian just terrible. I have no interest in her what so ever.
This. The style everyone has to work because she is a "beast' makes all of her matches exactly the same. Boooring to watch little bayley/sasha/etc unable to move her at all and get ragdolled.

I saw that match live and was thinking either Nia is the new King/Queen of strong style, or she's trying to kill Charlotte.

Finn Balor out again with a concussion.

Lol looking like a B+ player

Because you can always protect yourself from a forearm to the back of the head.

Yeah that was all on Jinder being too stiff

That was dirty. He legitimately knocked him out. I could tell that Finn felt it during the match. U can see it on his face. He looked like he was in a real fight
Angle was on Jericho's podcast and talked about his best opponents (Shawn Michaels, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit). I liked what he said about Eddie:

Angle and Guerrero got into a real-life backstage fight after some professional differences boiled over. The story goes that Guerrero attempted a double-leg take down on the Olympic gold medalist, but Angle defended it with a front face lock and they were quickly pulled apart. Angle recalled that after Guerrero had confronted him several times, Angle shoved him away from him to see what Guerrero would do.

"He didn't do anything, so I shoved him again and he double-legs me. I mean, you could've sucker punched me, but he double-legs me," he recalled. "And I'm like, 'he did not just try to double-leg an Olympic gold medalist, so I laid the hips into him and then I started choking him out nice and slow."

Angle said he wanted to make amends with Guerrero right away, but Guerrero told him he "wasn't ready to be sorry," which made Angle want to "kick his butt." They almost got into it again in the locker room, but Angle says JBL pulled them apart. He says the next week Guerrero apologized to him, and they were "like brothers."
OMG Reigns is alive!

Making a heel via force feeding into a face (Reigns,Cena) really sucks and just makes me want to change the channel.
WWE was right to keep Cena face, I'm not sure about Reigns. Destroying your most profitable character is a bad idea. This isn't WCW and the 90's. Reigns is completely company propped up though. He's only hated because the company wants him as his face so the second they turn him fans will just stop caring about him and move onto hating Vince's next creation. There's no such thing as actual heel heat these days.

i disagree 100%. their biggest stars of all time (hogan, austin, rock) all went back and forth. if cena went heel, it'd be as huge of a moment as when hogan went heel. that still may happen, but i doubt it (considering the PG rating).

if cena went heel and maybe went back to his thuganomics gimmick, he'd sky rocket to the top of the company (popularity wise for wrestling fans/not 8 year olds)

At this point Cena's gone Hollywood he'll never screw up his brand. Why it wouldn't work though is you can't recreate the past. Cena's World Order can only impress 8 year olds who haven't seen it done bigger and better.

Hogan did the same. I was a younger kid watching Hogan all my life. I idolized him the SAME WAY kids do Cena now. I grew up though. When Hogan turned, it was cool. It made $ for those who followed him. It was new. Cena has been the baby face for over a decade now. Those little kids are teenagers now.

So was I but all that stuff was new. Not new to me because I'm a still dumb kid but new to the mainstream industry. A superstar like Hogan going to take over a company. I know people say wrestling goes in cycles but it hasn't been popular since 2001. A decade and a half is a long cycle. Those Cena kids don't even know what popular is. Hogan fueled an actual boom period. If they were to turn Cena all they're doing is appeasing the smarks and turning their backs to the 1 guy who can sell himself outside of wrestling. Roman is a different story because there's nothing special about him.

Eh, you're comparing two different generations man. You're also implying your opinions of the popularity to make a point. Just making it complicated. Wrestling involves heels and faces. When you have a guy who has been face for so long and you suddenly turn him heel. Not only will it appease the smarks, but it will effect the kids who have been following that guy for years. You remember where you were when Hogan turned? Popularity has nothing to do with it. The story telling is still there.

Not sure why Reigns is mentioned. He isn't a long term face or face at all. Most of WWE fans dislike the guy. Reigns isn't even a heel. People just are so tired of him being forced upon us, so he will continue to get booed until WWE miraculously finds a plan for him. I don't see it. Hell, during Braun's beat down of him fans were chanting "YOU DESERVE IT!"....lol that isn't something a normal heel/face would get. That is showing the WWE fans for the most part don't like the guy.

I got 1 more post on this because I don't want to bog down the thread. It's not an opinion at all it's kind of a fact on who was bigger. They chart that kind of stuff. Austin, Hogan, . . . Cena. The kids have already left the industry. They're gone and doing their middle school thing while a new batch of 6-10 year olds grab their Cena gear. The same can be said about Hogan but you said it yourself it's 2 different generations/ environments and just copying that same formula doesn't equal the same result. Luring in teens is not as easy just turning Cena heel.

As for Reigns WWE is willing to ignore TV reactions because they feel it's just the smark community acting up for TV purposes.. They're looking at live attendance, merchandise, the network, the entire picture. As long as those aren't dipping they barely care how you react. Fans have been trying to overthrow the product for a decade and while they have some wins and are making grounds I wouldn't assume they're giving up on Reigns anytime soon.
Balor is in Columbus,OH for tonight's RAW, but is undergoing concussion protocol. Probably on tonight.
