same with Nakamura. this is why i don't understand the reasoning for WWE not using managers anymore. i guess it's too much more of a burden for their wonderful writers...

I'm hoping that the long term story line can incorporate an influx of the top Japanese wrestlers - with them all forming a stable with a good manager/mouthpiece (Heyman?) and "translator" with the back story being that they were "buried" due to poor English/Mic skills.

Lets get Nakamura and Asuka on one show with Heyman as a start......

Andrade doesnt speak strong English so im curious as to why he was given a mouth piece vs the wwe finding a mouth piece for other wrestlers who are foreign and lacking English speaking mic skills.

the only thing you can find if you google "why wwe doesn't use managers" is a lot of dirt sheet sites pretty much repeating the same thing, "vince doesn't like them" so who knows...

Yet Heyman is around. I ALWAYS tune in when he is speaking.

I'm a Heyman guy.

I saw someplace that he is starting to get writing credits, so I think it means he sticks around after Lesnar goes back to MMA. I think they need to find somebody new for him to Manage.

Hogan is back in the HOF. Expect him to show up tonight or on Raw tomorrow night.
Daniel Bryan signed a new deal. I know some people really thought he was gonna leave for Japan or something but I dont think it was ever a real possibility.
Welcome back

New day should help him gain his swag back. WE COMIN FO YOU
As noted earlier, Hulk Hogan met with the WWE locker room in Pittsburgh, PA before Extreme Rules. According to PWInsider, he made a formal apology to the locker room for the leaked comments that surfaced in 2015 that included him using the N-word from a conversation that took place over a decade ago.

Hogan reportedly told the locker room that he wanted to apologize for hurting others and embarrassing the company. He also told the locker room that they should think about what they say because these days, cameras are everywhere and anything you say, even in private, can be recorded without your knowledge.

At the end of his speech, Hogan was given a big positive reaction from the wrestlers and many of them gave him hugs and shook his hand. Hogan was said to be very emotional.

All of this falls in line with what he has told the media where he said that he wanted to turn the leaked comments into something that he can use to help teach people so they don't make the same mistakes as he did. Mark Henry said a few months ago that he would welcome Hogan back into the fold as long as he apologized to the locker room. That is what Hogan did today. Hogan also met with WWE officials and the assumption is that he is officially back with the company.

At this point, there is no word if Hogan will be appearing on WWE television this week but SummerSlam is a few weeks away and it would not surprise me if he was announced for that show, perhaps in some sort of ambassador or guest host role.

When you're that big of a star, you're not gonna make that kind of money in the indie. He's making at least 2-3 mil a year and merch sales.

Bryan probably could make as much if not more on the indies. Depends on the schedule he wants to work though.

His meal ticket if he went back to the indies would be merch and pictures/autographs. Cody, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have made a s**t ton of money, mostly through merch and a big reason is that you get almost all of the money from sales unlike in WWE where you get a small percentage of merch sales.

Very few guys can make that kinda money on the indies though.

There are a couple of promotions out there that will pay 10K per booking once in a while, and Daniel would get that. If he works 3-4 days a week, sure, he can make 2-3 mil a year as well.

From what I remember Cena / Lesnar are the only ones making more than 5 mil a year with their contracts. Cena, actually makes close to 10 mil, but I'm not sure if that includes merch sales as well. Also, I'm assuming that DBs new contract might also be close to the 5 mil a year range, since he was never one of their top payed guys. From what I read, DB got a really good contract and less days as well. He won't make 5 mil a year on the indie scene just working 2-3 days a week, (which he's now gonna be doing with WWE) on top of medical care that he gets with WWE for free.
