Let's be honest though, if both AJ and Samoa did not leave the WWE back then they would not be as big as they are now.

Looks like Matt Hardy is taking some lengthy time off due to some hip issues. Would explain recent posts on his social media accounts.

I hope he doesn't have to retire, but he's 43 and has put his body through hell. Jeff probably isn't too far behind.

I read Matt will be taking a mentor role backstage like what some other veterans have done. That will help them for sure.
