The first segment and the Evolution segment ran way over time so they had to cut several other segments out and reduce Taker's appearance to what it was last night. It was a cluster f**k apparently and it showed.

Yet, NXT can make a 1 hour show that doesn't seem rushed.

Well thats because NXT doesnt have a roster as big as the main one. Anniversary shows will always seem rushed because you have stars from years past returning.

Well that goes into argument #2. WWE needs to stop signing everybody, just to put them on ICE in the event they ever want to use them. Do what they did in the 90s and run with the best dedicated few.

Doesnt work that way. Putting them on ice would be worse.
The reason it worked in the 90's is because WcW took all of their stars and left the business bare bones. Vince had to use what he had left and hope for the best. Also hard to use the 90's as a comparison now because the culture is different.

Maybe I didn't word it clearly. I was saying the WWE signs all the popular acts, promotes popular NXT acts, then just basically stocks up on people they never plan to use or push, effectively putting them on ice. It's like those end of the world Preppers overstocking on something you prob won't ever use, then you get rid of it when it's expired, and wasted.
True about the culture being different, however I still think if they werent signing everyone and wasting them... Maybe they could bring back pyro. Or if they want to sign everyone, at least keep it fresh use someone esle and give guys, weeks or months off.
For example, what the last 2-3 weeks of Raw the Shield and Dogs of war have come out 2-3 times per show? So many other guys could have filled that time.

Problem is, Shield sells tickets and gets better numbers. There's a reason why we've now seen the Shield re-unite 3 different times.
wraslin is f**ked until Vince gives it up.

The main roster is all about who will make the most money for the company. That is how it's always been.

I really feel for guys like Breeze and Fandango. They have a lot of talent and in Breeze's case he was really over in NXT, but on the main roster they're made to look like jokes. The Fashion Police should have had a tag title run at least. You never know if you may or may not have some stars if you don't give them a legitimate push.

UFC's Daniel Cormier has a tryout scheduled for after UFC 230 with WWE for commentary.
He plans on fighting one more time after UFC 230 then retiring so this would be a post fight career. Could also make an interesting choice for GM on one of the brands down the road.

It's always been that way, except for those 5 years during the AE, and that's because Vince had no choice to but give other guys pushes since he lost most of his stars to WCW. He had to roll the dice and go with the talent that the fans seemed to gravitate towards (Outlaws, Austin, Foley, etc). RIght now ratings are steady, business is steady, and he has no reason to try and get really creative, which sucks for us
Wrestling needs to go through another Monday night wars type of thing to be good again.
