Iy kind of seems more likely Dolph and Drew will cost Strauman the title and we'll go back to Brock part time champ.

Or does his UFC fight remove that?

They can't do that again. It feels like it's been 4 years of Brock as part time champ. Now is the time to push new stars, or make one. Hell, have Almas come out of nowhere and win it.

I love almas

So do I, it seemed like a month or two ago he was tearing it up in matches, and then all of a sudden (IIRC) he's off T.V?
WWE plans to continue with Crown Jewel despite the journalism murder controversy, but pulled its planned appearance on the Megan Kelly show because of her recent blackface mess.

lol
Feels like they are starting a Braun/Drew long term feud, which probably means that it will not be for the Belt IMO. I'm predicting we get another run with Brock as the Part-Time Champ til the next PPV while they give the developing feud time to develop and see if Drew can be the next "Vince Body" to make a run as the top Character in the RAW World.

Megan Kelly just got fired so. ....
- The general feeling backstage among WWE management and talent is that the Evolution PPV on Sunday is "no big deal" with some of the women disappointed in WWE's lack of promotion for the PPV.
-- While the Roman Reigns story and the Saudi Arabia controversy has dominated the headlines, several performers are upset that more of a focus wasn't placed on the show during Raw and Smackdown this past week (and for the last month) and that Evolution has taken a distinct backseat to Crown Jewel.
-- Reportedly this is actually because a lot of the upper management don't see the show as being on the same level as a regular PPV which has reinforced the thought backstage that the main purpose of the show was basically a front to take away from the attention that WWE is not going to be taking any of their female performers or executives to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.

I feel like this was really obvious from the start.

Womens' ppv won't do well at all in the mid east.
The background news on Reigns' surprise announcement.

-- In terms of who knew about Roman's announcement, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that only a few people even knew that Reigns would be opening Raw with an interview and even fewer knew that he would be dropping the title and/or his reasons for doing so. Most wrestlers concluded that his absence over the weekend was injury related but some noted that he was moving around fine backstage and did not appear injured.

-- Prior to Raw, Reigns was kept on a bus all day at his own request, according to the Observer. Vince - who was always in contact with management at the arena via phone - made moves during the afternoon to prepare those who had to know without going into too much detail. Triple H was in charge of running Raw and producing the announcers and he was obviously one of the people that Vince was in touch with.

-- It is believed that along with Triple H, Kevin Dunn, Mark Carrano in talent relations and writers Dave Kapoor and Ed Koskey knew about the topic of Reigns' interview in advance of him going out to the ring. Stephanie McMahon was not in Providence for Raw and neither was Michael Hayes.

Gargano turned heel? Wow, I didn't think they'd actually go through with it.

Watching an all women's ppv is like watching the WNBA. No one gives a s**t. Now if every match was a bra and panties match then I would watch
