I read a theory on this being done with purpose. Bryan has long since said he wanted to wrestle Brock and after failing to beat AJ two weeks ago, was not about to let that happen again and see this opportunity slip away. By doing whatever it took to gain that opportunity and become Champ he has proved Miz right and has allowed Miz to get inside his head.

This will lead to a Miz face turn in the coming months setting up heel Bryan VS face Miz at WM for the WWE Title.

Bryan has also insinuated that WWE cannot book compelling long term storylines (back around when he had yet to resign). Perhaps he managed to gain a little creative control during his contract negotiations and is partially behind this all.

The Bryan-Brock match may not have always been planned to play a role in this whole story but turning both guys was.

Imagine how salty some of the women were when Rousey came in.

Instantly comes in and nearly makes 3x the $ they do.
