Taker was not retired for to long.

No kidding I wish they'd actually let Noble wrestle for once and not look like a lil b***h b/c he's a great wrestler as is Regal of course.
Other then that Raw was ok. I saw Cena and Batista getting the tag titles kinda like how Cena and HBK did last year. Match of the night was definitely the Punk vs JBL/Y2J although Jericho should be facing Punk at Summerslam.
The Tag Team match for the Intercontinental and Women's Championships oughta be cool too although Kofi and Mickie better retain. I don't want to see Santino with a belt anytime soon.

Triple threat matches are always gay. I watched Raw earlier because nothing else was on. That Punk vs JBL vs Y2J was garbage. The way it ended was so lame. He hit his head on the rope and fell backwards on CM Punk and got the 3 count w/o Punk kicking out. Anything with John Cena is horrible as well.

Santino is great! Everytime he is on screen I laugh. I thought the triple threat was great but the ending was too contrived for my taste.

I can't watch RAW anymore.
All the screaming girls and kids...
If only SD were live, I think that'd be the better show overall.

It surprised me that JBL won though. I thought either it'd go 10 minutes of Jericho would win.
BTW, who here is not feeling Jericho's new wrestling attire? I guess Y2J really is dead.

Yeah, drastic measures huh?

Broke his collar bone as well (which ended the match)..so hes gonna be out a while.
Jeez, WWE has terrible luck with injuries lately. They are lucky TNA doesn't advertise or promote itself worth s**t, because TNA Impact is far superior to WWE these days. Better wrestling, better storylines, and heck their talent is equally as famous as WWE (Kurt Angle, Booker T, Sting, Christian, Rhino, Dudley Boyz, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn).
Supposedly WWE will be introducing and pushing new wrestlers starting at the draft in 4 weeks. I hope they give Ted DiBiase Jr. a push. "Everybody's got a price... but me... I'm priceless"
I know this is old, but no way TNAs storylines are better than WWEs... they're both equally bad. TNA(Russo) has way to many gimmicks. Strap Matches, Table Matches, and the parody/goofy gimmicks. I'm waiting for a Hogan parody so Machismo can fued with him. Also having 2 Triangle storylines(Angle/Karen/AJ - Lethal/SoCal/Sonjay) at the same time, or so close together is lame. Isn't 1 bad enough?
Out of all the shows last week, Smackdown had the best "wrestling" and probably even "entertainment." I think Smackdown is becoming the better show in WWE... I just wish they would drop the Vickie/Edge storyline.

Mamacita is not turning in award winning performances - that is for sure.
Edge won't make anyone forget about Gregory Peck, but he is watchable as the conniving wrestler/ladies' man.

As Paul Heyman said years ago: "Hide your wives, it's Edge!"

Heard Foley might be on the outs as the SD color man, as his contract runs out this fall I believe and reports are he doesn't really like the year around job flying across the country.
I think SD needs a heel leaning color man. I thought when JBL was with Cole, it was a good match. Foley is a face and even though he does an alright job, there isn't that chemistry that Cole had with JBL and even the attitude era of JR/Cole with a heel leaning Lawler and even now, Lawler really is neutral.
Problem I don't see any of those heel leaning color men around anymore.
Foley probably will go back to being a on and off performer again if he either doesn't re-up as the SD color man or he just doesn't want to do the job anymore.

Foley may not be resigning b/c he's sick of Vince screaming in his ears over the way he's commentating or at least thats what I read at pwheadlines.com, and they reported his contract runs out at the end of summer. As for him being a performer I don't really think his body can handle it anymore. The guy can hardly walk muchless perform even if it is only a few times during the year.

Sorry James....
