The Velveteen Deam has raised many eyebrows following a recent tweet.
The NXT Superstar took to social media on Monday to post a tweet putting his WWE status into question.
"I Know My Worth," wrote Velveteen Dream via his official Twitter page earlier today. "The past year I've created a special atmosphere at NXT TAKEOVER."
The Dream continued, "Until WE* can come to an agreement as to what MY WORTH actually is, there won't be any appearances or performances from "The Velveteen DREAM" or my likeness."

AEW should pursue him.

He's an idiot if it is true. WWE owns his likeness and that name, does he not know that? lol This kid bought into his own hype big time. He probably spends his off time on message boards seeing what people say about him.

I do realize that. He's obviously trying to get fired if he's going to stop making appearances.

WWE isn't gonna fire him. They'll just make him sit at home until his contract expires like they did with Neville. IF it gets to that point. They're not gonna just giftwrap released superstars to AEW.

How long is his contract? Is he in negotiations with WWE? It looks like he wants out, so AEW should pursue him when he's available which could be soon.
You're probably right that WWE would have him sit out the rest of his contract, WWE is like that.

I wish they would have kept Alexa's entry in the Rumble a surprise.
I think I'm a fan of Lacey Evans now too.
