As there are fans who despise her (for whatever reason), there also a lot of fans who like her. Her being an athlete turned celebrity turned professional wrestler wasn't going to keep her in any developmental league. Not with a contract (7 figs) that is worth more than double the next female wrestler salary (Charlotte, 6 figs)

She proved her in-ring work ability at WM 34 (and a great crowd reaction btw), and convinced the FO she could handle the big stage. That and she actually shows up every Monday night, to house shows, and other WWE events unlike Lesnar.

She just needs to work on the promos and she'll be fine.

All of this. She's liked by a lot more fans than hated. Everyone is just so behind Becky right now that everyone she's facing is getting boo'd. If it was Ronda vs Nia, she would be getting huge pops like she did when she won the title.

Does anyone think Becky Lynch v Asuka or Flair could ME WM? Rousey plays her role well. She's a big name who can headline. Much like Brock only not as entitled. Fans will boo her v Lynch and that's fine.

I'd be shocked if it doesn't. The other matches aren't gonna be strong enough to imo. Everyone is tired of Brock, DB will have a helluva match with whoever he faces but this is by far the year of Becky and Ronda. Vince would be an idiot to not make it happen.

I wouldnt be surprised if the triple threat goes through. If this is going to be the first womens headliner at WM, you know Charlotte is going to want in.

There's no reason to unify the belts. The roster need to be split.

There won't be unification anytime soon. Plus a triple threat match doesnt work like that dmax lol.

I would be shocked if women ME a WM anytine soon. Would be cool and intersting to see, but i dont see Vince taking that risk.

I don't see it as a risk. I think its smart at this point especially with how over the women are right now compared to the men. The royal rumble proved that, the women's rumble should have been last to close out the show with Becky winning. The crowd was insane and gave some great pops to the women they knew Also if they're making WM 7 hours long like they did the Rumble, they want to have a lively crowd at the end and Becky or Charlotte beating Ronda at WM would do that. I don't think anyone would care about the Lesnar/Rollins match. It could get boring chants like the Dean/Seth match did a a month or so ago.

Is anyone going to watch that match during the halftime show of the superbowl? I'm not.
