Yeah all the fans have picked up on that too. I wouldn't say he's being wasted though since he is Hunter's boy. He's been boring as hell for years and he's a part timer now so maybe its more on him then anyone else. He gave up on trying to be creative and interesting.

You know his character is driven from creative though, right? His old school/heel characters were amazing.

If Daniel Bryan can think of a new way to get booed after being the most popular face on the roster for the past 6 or 7 years then Orton could have thought of something. He's been lazy as hell dude. WWE creative didn't come up with Vegan Heel Bryan, that was all him. Orton could have done something more than add his little hoodie vest. The one thing they really f**ked up on was when he joined the Wyatt Family. They could have done something really special with that. Have him grow out a beard and his hair to go along with his crazy eyes and he would have been a great addition to the Wyatts and a fresh take on his character. Instead...he was Randy Orton being Randy Orton who just happens to be in the Wyatt Family. Its pure laziness on his part. He's been coasting off of the "RKO Outta Nowhere" pop for years instead of trying to do something fresh and different.
The interesting thing with AEW is their is no creative team per se. Wrestlers themselves will be their own creative with both of the Young Bucks handling booking. It makes some level of sense as wrestlers should know and understand their own character better than any creative team does and this can help characters feeling less forced.

Orton would be able to reinvent himself to how he sees fit with no restrictions which could be completely refreshing for him.
Randy tried to tweak himself this past summer as the anti IWC guy. Personality has never been his strongest suite.

Well it does help that Bryan looks like a vegan Seahawk douche. Orton has pretty much done everything in the WWE and is just enjoying the ride so to speak.

Also anything involved with the Wyatt Family should just stop at this point. The gimmick was killed when the family jobbed to the Rock and Cena that one WM.
In what may turn out to be a bigger story later on, Undertaker has removed references to "WWE" on his Twitter profile, while also including an email address for promoters to book him for indie appearances.

Taker to AEW.

I dont blame him.

Though he could have returned to the wwe and team up with Bryan. They would be called the Straight Edge Vegans or something.
So i was posting this on another board before realizing the convo was a year old.

It was about 3hr raw, 2hr SD, 1hr 205 live, and 1hr Nxt being too much.

They have their 8pm promo, commercial, the impromptu match, commercial (middle), end match, commercial.

Then 8:30 if you are just joining us this happened.
Now scheduled match with the entrances, start, commercial, end, promo(interrupted), commercial, comes back with impromptu match in progress, start the 9pm hour.

After the match go over first promo again, and advertise the main event, wrestler walking to ring(from the back) high fiving all the other wrestlers standing around.

Commercial, plug a few sponsors on air, then wrestlers enter. This match is a 2 commercial match. At around 9:45, they re hash the last hour and a half, then preview the next hour, some movie plug, commercials.

It is now 10pm.

I do not hate the format, i hate the rewinds. I do not need to see the promo from 8 at 830. If it relates to the 1030 stuff, sure go over it a little. But the 20 mins wasted on that crap can be a longer match or another quick match(to build up a heel or face)
