Commentary was sloppy. JR got caught reading his lines a couple times. Didn't like how the camera guys did the entrances at times. No video packages to tell the audience who a lot of these people are which was surprising considering how they're trying to get more of a mainstream audience. I hadn't heard of so many people tonight. Last 3 matches saved the show though imo. Glad I didn't waste $50 for it though.

Eh I saw other people post similar stuff. The guy isn't that special. He was in the mid card for a reason. Apparently he signed a multiyear deal with them though so it wasn't a one off.

damn good promo by MJF

MJF is a star in the making.
Damn I've been a jericholic since the Lionheart days.

Dude knows how to be a douche canoe, very "Miz" like.

Overall a strong show, but they are still a long way from being serious competition to Vince. Cody and Dustin far exceeded my expectations and there were crazy f**king spots all over this card. Loved how Marco flew when he got thrown out of the Battle Royal.

Also, Taker is officially a mark

Stunning Steve Austin was a midcarder for a reason.

I know they always had Reigns tagged as their guy, but I thought Ambrose was going to be the breakout guy. He was like the unhinged mastermind of The Shield. Once they made Seth the mastermind, it just left Dean as a crazy guy.

Like, we all wish we could be as bad ass as Becky and Stone Cold, or as cool as The Rock, or as athletic as AJ and Seth. But who wants to be as crazy as Dean Ambrose? I know what they were going for, he was supposed to be this "mysterious cool" guy, but that only works if he isn't stupid. If he's stupid, he's not mysterious and cool, he's just crazy.

I know he has some loyal fans and I tried to like him after I got back into wrestling around 2013 or 2014 after taking a break for a couple years, but he just doesn't make me wanna tune in. I think making him the crazy guy after they broke up ruined it for me because it seemed so stupid to push someone as a lunatic in a PG era environment. Nothing he did was that crazy. Shane McMahon does crazier stunts than Ambrose ever did and I was hopeful for the heel gimmick but that was laughably bad.
I love the "AEW gonna bankrupt WWE" internet comments after 1 show lol.

Slow your roll son.

They won't bankrupt WWE ever, but they may fast track Hunter taking the lead for Raw and SD from Vince in time IF they can prove to be adept with running a weekly televised product.

If the rumors are true, I wouldnt be surprised a frustrated HHH takes over once Vince goes balls deep into the XFL season.
