I really enjoyed last nights show. There are a few things i didn't like. Cody destroying the mock up of HHHs throne was right out of the TNA playbook, there were a couple of production issues but to be fair they are learning as they go. On the whole though i felt like they successfully demonstrated an alternative to present day WWE. The real test is when we get to October and see if they can consistently put on a quality weekly TV show and high quality PPVs.

I felt like their production was kinda sloppy for the amount of time they've had to work out the kinks, but I'm sure they'll be better down the road.

Commentary was sloppy. JR got caught reading his lines a couple times. Didn't like how the camera guys did the entrances at times. No video packages to tell the audience who a lot of these people are which was surprising considering how they're trying to get more of a mainstream audience. I hadn't heard of so many people tonight. Last 3 matches saved the show though imo. Glad I didn't waste $50 for it though.

You're being too harsh. First time on TV, they did really good. I expected worse so I guess I felt it was better than it was. Still good to hear JR again though.

Am I though? For a $50 price tag you better have things a bit more smoother than they did. I've worked on plenty of live and pretaped events to notice the difference between good and sloppy production.

I didn't buy it and I'm glad I didn't cause it would have been a waste of money. They're a new promotion, it should have been common sense to make some legit video packages to showcase and introduce their roster. I'm not the only one out there who gave it a shot last night and asked, "WHO???" That's where they need to improve on the most. The hardcore indie wrestling fans may know who a bunch of these people are but if you want to capture mainstream audiences you're gonna have to do more than what they did last night. Will they? I'm sure they will for sure but last night I think they dropped the ball a bit. I don't know how you can say that I'm being that harsh when thats all fair criticism. I could have gone way more in depth but didn't want to be super nitpicky.

I think a lot of folks were happy just to have a different brand, but same folks wouldnt know half of that roster. Going forward Cody and their FO will need to push the storylines leading up to their debut on TNT imo.

That said I wont be surprised if Khan is already at CM Punk's door begging on his knees with bags of money to be at the Chicago ppv in August.
Good show Saturday night. The Rhodes' match and post match promo, Bret Hart, and Moxley. The rest of the show was good too, and it never felt like it was dragging on.

They should have played "Cult of Personality" just to f**k with people.

They may not have had any footage to cut up. They cant use any WWE, IMPACT, ROH, NJPW, or well any other promos footage.

The who was pretty tough, but i actually like that, no pre judgements.
Also i was only worried about match quality. The production quality, i am confident that will get better. And there is no real story telling yet.

But jericho did an interniew after. He talked about how it is hard to go on after lucha bros vs young bucks. So they had to work a different type of match to keep the fans.

That is not how WWE does it, every match is about the exact same.
Always disliked Ambrose but this promo was good.

Ya that was the main issue. What are you gonna show? Im glad they didnt do the lame black screen behind them and wrestlers cutting 10 sec promos like wwe does. Plus the had a certain amount of time and wanted to show case the talent.

Did they surpass wwe in one night? No. But it was a good start.

There's stuff from the very indie promotions that they could show. WWE did it for years when they didn't have the TNA stuff on people. I mean, there was a guy with no legs wrestling in the battle royal. I would have liked to have seen that guy's story ahead of time. Just saying.
