This might be the best mistake to happen. NXT is getting national attention on Fox

Which is surprising since a USA show is kick Foxs shows talents asses

But what a promo for NXT
— The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that Cain Velasquez's knee is in worse shape than expected and that he likely needs surgery. He was unable to do much of anything in the match against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel and despite signing Velasquez to a multi-year lucrative contract, it's likely that no one in WWE is going to really care about him at all moving forward. The original plan for the match was for a Paul Heyman style match with big moves like Lesnar had with Bill Goldberg but with the knee situation, it had to be changed into the short MMA-type fight instead.

Again reminding us how f**kING STUPID this "WWE Champion" and "Universal Champion" s**t is.

There needs to be a TOP guy. A Champ.

Well that didn't last long.

Smackdown was actually pretty decent tonight

Earlier when they said "surprises" tonight, I expected the same old Attitude Era b******t.

HHH knows what the people want. I mean, we got Adam Cole....BAY BAY...vs Daniel Bryan. Now that's awesome.

Not to mention Ciampa, Bazlier taking out Sasha, Bayley and Nikki. Rhea and Tegan are badasses in their own right as are Riddle and Keith Lee. I wouldn't be surprised if NXT beats AEW next week with this introduction of their talent on Fox.

Renee got kicked in the face by Sonya too when she flew over the announce table. lol

Eh, Cole should have spoke at the end Bay Bay. Always got to be about Hunter though.
Fiend is by far the best wwe attraction
Imagine that in order to have a great episode of SD, you need your talent to be stuck in Saudi Arabia.

Also Bryan is a stud. Did a tremendous job selling for Cole in putting him over. Did the same for Big E when he had that tag match with Rowan VS New Day a couple months back too.

Hopefully SS is RAW and SD VS NXT and not brand VS brand VS brand.
It's always 5 bad wwe shows, 1 bad ppv, 3 more bad wwe shows, 1 good show, repeat.
Salina De La Renta... that is all.

Jeez. New reports out of Saudi Arabia. Apparently Vince hasn't been paid for the last two events there and is owed millions of dollars. In retaliation, Vince pulled the feed in Saudi Arabia.

Former WWE Spanish commentator Hugo Savinovich has revealed source details behind why WWE Superstars were delayed from returning to the United States from Saudi Arabia on Thursday, which lead to the majority of them missing Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE's story was the plane that the talent were using to travel back on from the Crown Jewel event had mechanical issues, but Savinovich, who has connections with top sources in WWE revealed that Vince McMahon hasn't been paid for two events in Saudi Arabia, and the figure owed is reported to be in the millions of dollars.

McMahon reportedly retaliated by cutting off the live feed for Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The Crown Prince was so irate by this decision he had WWE Superstars taken off the Altlas Air flight just before it was due to depart. There were rumors yesterday that something else other than mechanical issues but nothing concrete could be confirmed until now.

Savinovich noted that mechanical issues were just a cover and McMahon could have paid to charter another flight right away to get talent home in time for SmackDown in Buffalo. The issues were all to do with the Saudi Crown Prince.

This is the type of s**t why people were so against them going over there in the first place. It's not worth the risk and I'm glad it kinda blew up in Vince's face.
