Bro!

It was noted earlier in the month that Matt Riddle's current WWE contract was coming up for expiration in the summer of 2021 and that the company was working hard to have him re-sign a new multi-year deal. At that time, it was being reported that the two sides had more or less come to terms on a contract that would pay Riddle $1.2 million over the next three years plus $50,000 for every appearance he made at WWE's Saudi Arabia events.

Is that a lot of money for a performer?

Thats a lower card contract. Even girls like Dana Brooks were making 200-300k a year. Unless hes getting a big percentage of merch sales, thats a pretty s**tty contract for someone like him.

I know that they have to pay for their hotels, cars, etc....

Yep

No cap. I will watch NXT next week over AEW. I haven't said this statement since AEW started. NXT did a great job hyping up the show.

Balor vs Riley-title match

Gonzalez vs Ripley--last woman standing

Thatcher vs Ciampa-Fighter's den match

Priest vs Kross

I am probably forgetting a match but wow. Those should be bangers.

She would get it in the butt.
I think the biggest mistake Vince ever did with Brodie was a few years ago when they had him turn face and leave the Wyatt Family because he despised Orton's membership into it and despite being incredibly over as a face Vince didn't put him in that god awful Orton/Wyatt match at WM for the title. That would have made him into a superstar but nope, gotta go with another boring Orton match.

Of course Vince went with Hunter's boy Orton. And FU to WWE & Vince, AEW showed how you do a tribute show, It was a great night, loved seeing Brodie Jr. nail MJF with the kendo stick, loved MJF staying character, loved Jericho also staying in character, but loved the opening with all the wrestlers on the stage, and Mox's opening statements, same for everyone else who said what they said. Brodie Lee/Jon Huber was a great wrestler, and a better husband & father. Loved Archer's tribute to Brodie by wearing what he used to wear in WWE, also Silver wearing his replica of Brodie's AEW attire that Brodie gave him. Eddie Kingston was great both live, and on the pre-taped segment. The Sting/Darby moment gave me chills, glad the entire Dark Order members won the matches.

You're right that the orton vs wyatt match was boring and it should have been a 3 way. But of course vince will do what he wants because he's making oodles of money despite himself. But I disagree that match would have made him a star. He would be a flash in the pan because of bad booking.

You're probably right but they could have given him the respect that they did Kofi for the majority of his run, although hopefully not as swift and brutal of an ending as Kofi's run was. lol
Ziggler and Roode will now be known as the Dirty Dawgs.

lol wtf. The only thing I can think of as to why is it's a PG version of Beer Money Inc.
AEW really shines a light as to how cheesy WWE has become
