That´s great. Darby is the perfect first feud for Punk.
Mox will face Tanahashi at some point and maybe at All Out and that´s f**king crazy. Imagine Tana´s entrance in Chicago!!!!
And I´m so happy they take the hard road with the Hangman´s story and have him lose his title shot.
It´s too soon to beat Kenny. Let him face Danielson in a main event for the AEW title.
Let him face a big star from NJPW.
There´s a cool story to write with Hangman during this time. You should tell the story that when Hangman was at his worse, the elite didn´t help him but now the Dark Order will.
Title shots are earned by the rankings so BD can't come in and jump straight to the top. The Hangman story may not be dead for All Out just yet either, but they could ice it until a later PPV.

Pretty much a lock that CM Punk debuts on August 20 at the United Center in Chicago. They wouldn't have moved it to that big arena or made all the Punk hints (Darby saying best in the world, MJF saying the first few sentences of the pipebomb promo) if it wasn't already set.
It is a lock, no if ands or buts left in my mind. They didn't book that arena for a week before when they already have 3 shows already on sale for the same city AND call it The First Dance if you were not debuting Punk.
Last night was one giant just wink and nod to fans.
