Seen that about Sami's as well but his was previously known. And his may have some time added on for time he missed due to injury and the pandemic. But a strong chance that early next year both can be AEW bound.

Not like Vince uses them properly or cares, old senile idiot.

I don't get how WWE has the right to extend someones deal due to injury, they were injured in a WWE ring, and because of a pandemic, that's pure BS by Vince & WWE.

I would love to know the legalities of that cause they're seen as independent contractors. The dates should be set in stone, injury be damned.

Yep, plus the whole BS with the no compete clauses, I forget who did it, but someone took WWE to court, and they won, some just either don't want to take the time, or don't have the money to do that. You damn well know if WWE fired some big name, he or she would take them to court to get that dumb no compete clause overturned.
Also, does any other wrestling company have those in their contracts? I honestly don't know if AEW, NWA, IMPACT, ROH, NJPW, MLW, etc... have something like that, I doubt AEW does.
Part of why very few fight the no compete clsuse, i have listened to cornette mention they are paid their salary for the length of it.

You can make 30k to not work and relax/prepare, or 30k to immediately go back on the road.

The extension for injury time is the one that makes no sense to me.

Honestly AEW doesn´t need Owens and Zayn.
They´re great don´t get me wrong but at some point you should stop signing people unless they´re really game changers.
If it was let´s say AJ Styles, I would understand because you could do the Omega/Styles main event match. And I know that Owens was in Mt Rushmore with the Bucks and Cole but there´s not enough space for everyone.
AEW should focus on the talents they have and try to keep building their young talents.
They should work on their women´s division too.

It is the beauty of AEW's relationship with it's wrestlers. If they have nothing for you at the moment you can go work a story in elsewhere.

You can have matches just to have them and they matter(for the rankings) so they don't have to be storyline based, just title based. And that in itself can be a storyline.

They have room to introduce more titles like, three man tag, North america(mid card), and dark.

also if they grow more japan, europe, and mexico can have regional titles.

Owens is pretty much guaranteed to be in AEW, which is great, always was a big fan. Zayn, I'm on the fence, but he will most likely be in AEW as well.

But I do agree with you as well, they are definitely getting to the point where they have too much talent. Especially with the way they use their belts, it's not hot potato and most of these guys will never see a belt before they have to retire lol.

I think someone like Hangman is losing interest from the fans bc of all the new signings. Hangman / Omega should've happened at this PPV. I get long term storyline but this is too much now. And with Punk and Bryan now here, fans want to see them feuding with Omega and even winning the title.

And although Jdt is right, they won't make the same money wrestling for another promotion. At one point they want to be headlining AEW events and not TNA or ROH or whatever.

When they teased Hangman VS Kenny weeks ago, the fans were hot as s**t for it. I am confident that his return will get a big pop as it sets in motion his Full Gear title match with Kenny.

Full Gear always made the most sense. He and Kenny opened that very PPV last year in the tournament final for the title shot that led to Kenny becoming champ. And the story can now come full circle with them closing the show fighting for that title.

Bryan, Punk and Cole all just arrived. No need to rush them into World Title programs just yet.
bray wyatt swinging more towards AEW now. Stay f'n tuned. AEW has some great momentum right now.

And look at WWE shoving tag teams down the peoples' throats all of a sudden.
Lmao MJF went a little too far
Marco Stunt attacking Cutler was hilarious
Rumor is that WWE wanted Adam Cole to change into purely a manager role, managing Keith Lee in what was described as a "Lio Rush/Bobby Lashley" dynamic. Also the rumor was they wanted to give Adam Cole a new name because it was too similar to Michael Cole

Who knows if it's true but if it is holy sh*t Vince has lost it
