Dynamite was good, the Lethal/Guevara match was awesome. It was reported earlier before Dynamite that Dem Boyz, Jay & Mark Briscoe were backstage, must of been visiting friends, as I think they live near VA, still hope they end up signing with AEW.

Mad respect to Punk for that match, I know he's not the same guy from 7+ yrs ago, but he still has it, like Sting, he isn't the same 90s Sting, but he can still go.

Honestly, I think he´s on the same level in the ring. He never was an athletic marvel or a cardio monster. He was good don´t get me wrong, but he always was a master storyteller more than anything.
I think he will be better and better. The thing is that the in ring talent in WWE in 2014 was worse than now in AEW. CM Punk will have some great guys to work with and Eddie in his own "I´m a massive nineties AJPW fan" was one of them.
Of course if you put Punk against a slow, methodical and average guy like Hobbs, it won´t be a banger. CM Punk never was a Kenny Omega talent in the ring. But you put him against dynamic guys like Darby, Matt Sydal or even a guy like Eddie that is relentless, and Punk will be fine.
I think the match with MJF will probably be the first one where Punk will go for 20 minutes at least. And I think it will be fantastic because the program itself will have ton of heat. You put MJF against snarky face CM Punk in a promo battle, surely it has to be a promo of the year candidate.
Honestly it´s one of my dream feuds. MJF against face old man Punk.

Glad they are starting this MJF / Punk feud. That was a great way to start it off

Dude that was brilliant and it really helps build the anticipation for them to actually begin to have a little back and forth promo...probably in Chicago next week where a rabid crowd will eat that ish up.

Little details like wearing the same color shirts to call back to their "first ever encounter" was a nice touch.

I really liked Cole responding to Kenny he would hold things down while Kenny took time off and Kenny saying he was actually talking to Nick. Nice little seed being planted for a little later on.

Yeah, I think Nick is Kenny's actual best friend in real life, they're all tight, but Nick was always his BF, but I can see Cole eventually facing Omega. I wonder how long Omega takes off, also I wonder how Bobby Fish will fit in, he & Cole face Jurassic Express tomorrow night.

Also is Bryan Danielson turning heel already? He ran down Page & the Dark Order, the entire Danielson/Evil Uno match the crowd would chant NO when he would do his kicks, and instead of Cowboy s**t, they were chanting Uno s**t or something like that.

What I think made it feel like a heel turn is when he said how Page isn't wrestling that night, when he said when I won the world title at Wrestlemania, I wrestler the next day, boos from AEW fans.

I really don't understand how any of the mid or low card can trust management. Vince and whoever else clearly don't get a f**k about building people up.

married. They were huge on Impact. Maybe she , Morrison , Scarlett and others go back?Would be a boost for IMPACT now that they got the NXT /WWE spotlight.
