Been saying it since he returned. Hes not that good or entertaining in general anymore. It's weird he has as many simps as he does. Drew has destroyed him throughout this entire feud.

Agree. I don't understand the fandom at all. There's nothing interesting about him to me.

Drew has been absolutely dominant in every facet of the business lately, surpassing even Rollins at this point. Punk really hasn't had much to offer other than being predictable interference and getting owned physically or on the mic.

Punk was at his best during the PG era, because he did something other wrestlers weren't doing anymore / allowed to do, which was do "shoot" promos. While knowing how to walk that line and not go overboard.

Afterwards they allowed him to do the "pimp bomb" promo and he got massive (he actually got me back into wrestling). He was also good as a heel afterwards. But his main character was being the anti-hero/anti-company guy. Basically a punk rock version of Stone Cold.

The issue was that after he came back from his long hiatus, that whole persona that made him great didn't work anymore. You can't go to AEW, start telling everybody how amazing TK is, and how much better it is to work here, and still keep that character alive. Then you can't go back to the place you swore you would never work at again, talk all that s**t about Vince, HHH, the other Khan, and still keep that character alive.

He was bland at AEW as well because he doesn't know how to change his character, he still wants to be CM Punk from 15 years ago which is impossible. He's been trying to live off his old reputation.
''I'm Taylor Swift for men.'' -CM Punk in 2024
