I don't think the fans are dismissive of it, This round the backlash was severe. I am sure it was because it was off camera personnel, and so egregious there was no denying or defense of it.

The big group before this one was a few legitimate ones, among hundreds of normal interactions. An attractive person was suspended for saying another attractive person was attractive(paraphrasing here).

But much like Hollywood, as fans we know there is A LOT of non consentual consent to jumpstart a career.

The red flag history is pretty bad

the female ref on a talk show in 90s saying Vince raped her

the pefophile ring in the 80s

both were known public scandals. Fans tuned in, Vince stayed in power and fans made him a billionaire

the black wrestler in McMahon documentary saying they all abused women and it was bad

we're not talking about a one off bad actor

Idk, there might be some weirdo WWE loyalists out there, but the typical "smart" fan has always hated Vince. It was celebrated when he left.

I couldn't stand McMahon. When I was a kid I obviously was clueless to the other stuff. When I got back into things a few years ago as an adult, I couldn't wait for him to be gone. He should be in jail and I don't know how he's still free right now.

Bad blood was decent. I already knew Jimmy was coming back... Was spoiled by people posting his return in a dark match..

had no idea Raquel was coming back and literally said like a minute before she came out "I kinda miss Raquel, IDK what happened to her"

Yes true. That's why I can only say decent at best from some of the story stuff. Matches were mostly boring though and botch filled.

Maybe I was being too generous lol.
