During the recent trip to Iraq, JBL was harassing former WWE announcer and now WWE.com head Joey Styles. JBL was basically bullying him, being rude, condescending and also spilling a drink on Styles at one point. JBL seemed to target Styles since it was his first trip with the company to Iraq, something Styles was looking forward too. Many people in the company don't like when JBL does these things, but they feel that they have to deal with it due to the fact that he is a tenured veteran and has a lot of political stroke backstage.

After a few days on the tour, JBL (who was drinking) did something to Styles that upset him so much that he physically retaliated. Several wrestlers tried to break up the situation, but JBL broke free. This is when Styles threw a punch that not only laid out JBL, but also blackened his eye. Many within the company feel that this is karma, due to the fact that JBL has "hazed" people for years, including the Blue Meanie beat down at the first "One Night Stand" as well as the European Tour where Smackdown talent Palmer Cannon quit the company due to the actions of JBL

This was the talk of the locker room last night at Raw. JBL was reportedly very out of character, as he was quiet and subdued backstage. Styles tried to downplay the entire incident when people brought it up. Most feel that this is a double embarrassment for JBL, first of all because he got punched out by an announcer, and secondly because he is very instrumental in setting up the Iraq tours.

OH MY GOD!!!!

Nice job Joey. That beatdown on the Blue Meanie years ago was so foul. It's nice to see him get his just desserts... by a skinny little announcer.

Styles is actually a prett big dude so he can take care of himself and JBL took HBK's slammy b/c HBK took that deal that would help him "financially" or whatever. its a stupid storyline.

Former TNA Star Scott Hall Attempts Suicide - Update
Report by TNAWrestlingNews.com Staff on 10/27/2008 at 03:23 PM

The only Scott Hall update that we have through what we believe to be a reliable source is that he was hospitalized on either Friday or Saturday night.

The word we got was that it may have been a suicide attempt and that pills could have been involved. We're not sure if Scott is still in the hospital or what the deal is now. We're trying to contact a few other people who would know more about Scott than we would. As soon as we find out any information we’ll be sure to post it here on the website.

Keep in mind though that this is a personal issue and we respect the privacy of those involved. We’ll see what we can find out though and we’ll go from there.

It’s really a sad situation as evidenced by those roast/bar videos that we posted here a few weeks ago. We wish nothing but the best for Scott and hopefully his friends will be there for him, especially right now.

One of my favorite wrestlers of all time.

Razor had everything except great mic skills and a avoidance of alcohol and drugs

He certainly had the size and the looks.

The Razor's Edge has gotten a little dull.
Some fan's possible thought of a storyline of Christian returning to SD...
Quote:

Alright, as we know, Jeff Hardy was found "unconscious" in a stairwell on Saturday, thus he could not compete. The returning Edge took his place and won; this starts the speculation that Edge knocked out Jeff. Hook, line and sinker. Alright, Jeff Hardy (before Armageddon) demands to find out who attacked him. A video plays on the Titantron. We see Jeff walking down a stairwell, and then a masked man attacks him with a led pipe. The man runs away. Jeff looks shocked. Edge comes out and tells Hardy that "He did not attack you." Triple H comes out and says that he did. Edge turns to Triple H and says "Where were you that Saturday? It seems you were angry when Jeff kicked your ass the Smackdown! before Survivor Series." Thus, giving Triple H a motivation. Jeff attacks Triple H, as Edge and Vickie walk off, smiling at what Edge caused. Later that night, Vickie announces a Triple Threat match for the WWE Title at Armageddon. Triple H Vs. Jeff Hardy Vs. Edge.

At Armageddon, Jeff is cutting a promo backstage (early in the show), and gets attacked again by the masked man. Jeff is knocked out (again.). Matt Hardy cuts a promo later, and says Jeff is alright, and will compete, but will be a little banged up. The match is next. Jeff knocks Edge out to the outside. Jeff then hits a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb combination on Triple H. Jeff has the match won. Edge comes in with a steel chair and hits Jeff. No DQ in a Triple Threat. He covers Triple H for the three.

The next Smackdown! Jeff Hardy demands to see who attacked him in that stairwell. Edge comes out and says he knows who it is, and Jeff will find out later. The main event is Kozlov vs. Hardy. Jeff wins with a Swanton/Twist of Fate combo. Close match, Vladamir almost kicks out. Jeff is standing, breathing heavily, and grabs the mic. He demands to find out.

The lights go out. THE UNDEATAKER? LUL. No. The lights come back on to reveal Christian Cage with a lead pipe, the fans don't know what to think, and Jim Ross sells the poo out of it. Hardy turns around and gets leveled. Edge comes out and hugs Christian, and Edge spears Jeff. Triple H comes out and clears house. Jeff & Triple H vs. Edge and Christian is named for the next Smackdown! main event. No DQ.

I know it's sketchy, but the WWE has a tendency to use storylines from their games in real life. It has happened, and this would be a decent way to bring him in as a Heel. Fans will remember him with Edge, no doubt. He'll join La Familia, and eventually turn face.

That would be awesome, but has he officially signed with WWE yet?
Don't know, I think his TNA deal runs out somewhere in mid DEC and with the PPV tomorrow, don't know if he's allowed to return just yet.

That storyline was thought of late last month and I haven't watch SD in a while, doesn't look like according to the reviews I've read of the show that anything similar to the events written above by fan(s) has taken place.

Don't know if there has been any "mysterious" guy in the back making such moves that could be linked to a Christian comeback which is happening, just don't know when.

Christian returning to SD makes more sense than him going to RAW. Only thing that stinks would it'd be taking place on a taped show rather than happening it live.

With Tomko also rumored to be return, I definitely could see that stable the poster wrote about happening with Edge/Christian/Tomko with La Familia in Vicki as the GM with Chavo/others joining. Don't know about two of Edge's TT partners, they still on SD or were they split by the draft a few months ago.

Have them fueding with the three major faces of SD in Taker, HHH, and J.Hardy, maybe throw in M.Hardy too.

NO sign of Christian?

Oh well, reports are he's a lock to return to the WWE soon, just thought tonight would've been a great storyline with Edge and J.Hardy involved in the main event with M.Hardy also wrestling tonight defending the ECW title I'm reading.
