The new face of Extreme
Jack Swagger defeated Matt Hardy to become the new ECW Champion.
This kid is getting such a push but i think Hardy will get it back.
Also Tommy Dreamer’s announcement that he must win the championship before his contract expires on June 6 or he will leave ECW.

I'm not sold on Swagger at all yet but he's got the look that Vince and the higher ups at WWE love.

Ted Dibiase Jr, Cody Rhodes, and Swagger will keep the WWE floating and hopefully give the fans something to cheer for other than John Cena.

Tonight's Smackdown was probably the worst wrestling show I've ever seen. Not b/c of the card but b/c they f**king switched to the crowd whenever there was a weapon used or in Hardy's case a pyro explosion. They have gotten so kid friendly its pathetic and its gonna end up costing them more and more fans. Vince needs to remember that sex and violence = ratings not Hornswoggle and Cena. I'm pretty sure I saw more of Cena doing pointless lil segments tonight on Smackdown then I did on Raw.

This is the cycle of wrestling though. Prior to the attitude era you had the era of the superstars dominated by Hulk Hogan and others. Hell, they had a cartoon show. The environment back then was extremely kid friendly, and therefore those kids became the fans that cheered like hell during the later attitude years. I imagine in another decade we will see the switch back.

Or you can watch TNA like I do, which is the closest thing to the attitude era/ecw that exists. Sure it's not AS good, but its a hell of a lot more entertaining than WWE, and most important its TV 14 not TV PG.

Yeah I'm pretty bummed about that too. She has always one of the few divas that could actually wrestle but never got the pushes she deserved b/c they love to push the prettier girls who can't wrestle. Not that I'm complaining since they are eye candy but they should be managers or something not wrestlers.

EVERYONE
who posts here needs to watch ,''The Wrestler.''
Awesome.....awesome movie about wrestling.
It shows the dirty part of wrestling that Vince never wants you to know.
''Cutting,'' the long road trips, steriod and drug use, the rise and fall, wear and tear.
Mickey Rourke was a great casting, as shown by him winning the golden globe for this role.
Link to the movie. Get it before the take it off.
