Tony,
Thanks for the link.
Want to see this movie big time.
The pains and disappointments of professional wrestling.
I blame a lot of the sorry state of pro wrestling on Vinnie Mac who drives his wrestlers to exhaustion, wrestling with injuries without medical coverage, no unions, etc. instead of treating wrestlers as professional athletes. Other promoters do the same, of course, but Vinnie has the resources to turn this around. Vinnie, a steroid freak, himself, has ruined many a wrestler, demanding behemoths as his centerpieces. HBK and Chris Jericho are exceptions.
In addition, the sometimes sick story lines, turn me off completely. Check out the 4 Horsemen promos - fantastic. Effective, simple and not warped like many of today's story lines.
I respect wrestlers. As choreographed as wrestling is, the guys give everything they have to entertain the crowd, which more than I can say about some NBA players who mail it in at times.

The wrestling crowd has changed since the attitude era. What was considered shocking back in 98 is pretty much the norm now. Had Eric Bischoff not drive the nWo storyline into the ground or make Goldberg look silly, who knows. Vince did what he had to do to survive.
As for Vinnie Mac, he's just going with the times when it comes to wrestler's looks. What is more pleasing to tv audiences, Bastion Booger or John Morrison? But I dont blame him for the wrestlers. These guys hurt themselves daily and as some have said themselves, the pain never ever goes away. It is unfortunate they have to work the full schedule, but thats what you get for a global business.

meh, you just like him cause he's from st. louis.
But really though this whole time they have been looking for the next big star and he's staring them right in the face. They should do Orton vs Cena at Wrestlemania and pull the double turn.

Well the fact hes from St. Louis is awesome..but no, I liked him ever since hes come up.
His attitude and the way he is..
But I agree, there is no reason they shouldn't have Cena/Orton in every main event..nobody can put on a show like those guys can.

That whole Cena vs JBL and HBK thing blew up kinda.
Shawn made cena flinch, then decided to actually throw a punch, but Cena tried to play it off, so Jbl just tried to salvage the fu*k up.

Mr. McMahon came back and Randy Orton ran on about how Stephanie McMahon slapped him for no reason..and demanded an apology and then insulted Steph pretty bad and Steph left the ring..then, Vince McMahon asked Randy for an apology or there would be consequences...Orton didn't say anything...McMahon said it to him again and said he would terminate Orton's contract if he didn't aplogize...still nothing out of Orton...McMahon proceeds to go ahead with "Alright Randy, YOU'R"
Then, Randy Orton knocks McMahon down..then pushes him over w/ his foot..McMahon crawls back to his knees and Orton punts him in the head.
McMahon leaves on a stretcher..
