I've been a huge 49er fan for 37 years. I have only missed 3 games during this time. The game I most regret not seeing was the 1984 game 49ers vs Steelers at the Stick. The only 49er game that has ever been blacked out in my area. That was the only game they lost that season. They lost with a game ending field goal.
For many years during the 80's and 90's i'd have debates with fellow football fans about the greatness of the 49ers, usually I'd have numbers and facts to back me up, and go on to win a lot of debates. Dallas Cowboy Fans are the best to debate.No kidding, we'd have debates like First Take or Skip & Shannon. They would get heated most of the time. The 49ers are a passion of mine and I will defend my team tooth and nail. Someone told me once that I s!#t red and gold. I took it as a compliment!
