NaVorro Bowman spoke to reporters Sunday for the first time since he sustained a season-ending torn Achilles on Oct. 2 and what he said wasn't surprising: The run defense fell apart without the All-Pro inside linebacker. The 49ers allowed 122.7 rushing yards a game in three full games with Bowman and 174.3 in 12 games without him. Phil Dawson, 41, has said he plans to remain in the NFL if he can continue to kick at a high level, which suggests he'll be back in 2017. Dawson made 18 of 21 field goals, with his misses coming from 53, 48 and 44 yards. Tight end Je'Ron Hamm sustained a broken left leg in pregame warm-ups that required an air cast. [...] rookie cornerback Rashard Robinson was carted off with an ankle injury in the second quarter. The 49ers defense allowed the most points (480), yards (6,502) and rushing yards (2,654) in franchise history, and their performance was among the worst in league history. The 49ers scored TDs on 30 of 44 (68.2) trips inside the red zone, their highest percentage since 1994 (72.5), according to the Elias Sports Bureau. … The Seahawks snapped a punt out of the end zone, giving the 49ers their first safety since Oct. 13, 2013.
