Thank you, weather.com and Joe Staley's free agency pitch on Twitter. We owe you for this. We won't attribute this day to San Francisco's near 100 million dollars of cap space or the 7-25 record the Niners have put up in the past two seasons. We'll look the other way. The weather in Northern California is beautiful. The legacy of a five Super Bowl Champion franchise (mind you they are 20-plus years removed) was somewhat appealing. Living in Santa Clara is pretty chill; they just a got a Whole Foods. Plus, Kyle Shanahan is a visionary on offense. OK, we get it. There was a lot to like and reasons to sign on a contract (likely) with a quill pen. They have black uniforms!
