SANTA CLARA Guard Joshua Garnetts season does not appear to be in jeopardy, but it appears unlikely he will be able to compete for a starting job to open the season.Coach Kyle Shanahan said Saturday that Garnett, who sat out practice with a knee injury, could undergo a procedure that will keep him out a period of time. It is not believed Garnett sustained any damage to his ACL.
