Niners cornerback Richard Sherman will miss a "couple weeks" with a calf strain that forced him to exit in the second quarter of a 38-27 loss at Kansas City on Sunday, head coach Kyle Shanahan said. Sherman's injury is to left calf. In the offseason, he underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in his left Achilles tendon after he tore his right Achilles in November. On Thursday, Sherman missed practice with a heel injury and Shanahan indicated Friday he would likely be dealing with the issue throughout the season. "I think there's wear and tear," Shanahan said. "I'd like to give him some time off, anyways. He's going through some stuff, as he will probably be all year.
