Time healed NaVorro Bowman’s wounds from 49ers

NaVorro Bowman, the legendary linebacker who sustained two major leg injuries during his career with the 49ers, made this clear Tuesday: The final wound he sustained with the team has healed. Less than two years after he was released by the 49ers amid bruised feelings over his playing time, Bowman, 31, returned to Santa Clara to officially retire from the NFL.
