49ers: Richard Sherman’s return isn’t imminent; Garoppolo back at practice

Richard Sherman is eligible to come off injured reserve this week and play Sunday against the Dolphins. But that's not happening. The 49ers' All-Pro cornerback, who was placed in IR with a calf strain on Sept. 16, indicated he might be able to return when the 49ers host the Rams on Oct. 18. However, even that timetable is murky.
