Kyle Shanahan: The guys around here have a ton of belief in Sam Darnold

49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is making his way through the concussion protocol, which means Sam Darnold could make his first start for San Francisco on Sunday against Cincinnati. In a radio interview with KNBR on Thursday, head coach Kyle Shanahan said he would be excited for Darnold to get an opportunity if it comes.
