This achievement ties the NFL record held by former Baltimore Colts running back Lenny Moore, who has held this record since the 1960s.

Previously, the 49ers' franchise record was in the hands of wide receiver Jerry Rice, who recorded 12 consecutive games with a touchdown in 1987. McCaffrey also surpassed Rice with his 14th consecutive regular-season game with a touchdown. Rice reached the end zone in 13 straight regular-season games from 1986 through 1987.
