The San Francisco 49ers play their only home game of the 2024 preseason as they face the New Orleans Saints at Levi's Stadium. This matchup marks the fourth preseason meeting between the two teams and the first since 2011. The Saints lead the all-time preseason series, 2-1.

The 49ers are coming off a loss in their preseason opener against the Tennessee Titans. QB Joshua Dobbs led the offense, completing 14 of his 20 pass attempts for 146 yards and scoring a six-yard rushing touchdown. RB Jordan Mason contributed 34 rushing yards on six carries (5.7 average) and added a rushing touchdown of his own. WR Tay Martin led all receivers with five receptions for 58 yards.

Defensively, the 49ers were led by LB Tatum Bethune, who recorded eight tackles. CB Renardo Green recovered a fumble, while DL Kalia Davis registered a sack on Titans QB Malik Willis.
