The Minnesota Vikings will be without wide receiver Jordan Addison on Sunday when they host the San Francisco 49ers at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The team ruled him out after he could not practice this week due to an ankle injury.
Vikings ruled out WR Jordan Addison for Sunday's game against the 49ers due to his ankle injury.
Addison sprained his left ankle in August but returned in time for Week 1 against the New York Giants. He caught three passes for 35 yards before suffering a right ankle sprain during the game.
The Vikings selected Addison with the No. 23 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he recorded 911 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 70 receptions, proving to be a solid complement to Justin Jefferson.
With Addison sidelined, Minnesota will likely turn to Jalen Nailor and Brandon Powell to help fill the void this weekend.
