The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 7 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. These seven players will not suit up for the game.
On Friday, the 49ers listed two players as questionable: defensive tackle Kevin Givens (groin) and cornerback Darrell Luter Jr. Givens is active for the game, while Luter is not. The team also ruled out wide receiver Jauan Jennings and kicker Jake Moody. Jennings is dealing with a hip injury, and Moody suffered an ankle injury during Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
On Saturday, the 49ers activated rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall from the non-football injury (NFI) list, exactly seven weeks after he was shot in the chest during a robbery attempt in San Francisco. Pearsall is set to make his NFL debut against the Chiefs.
In addition, the 49ers placed kicker Matthew Wright, who had been filling in for Moody, on injured reserve after he suffered shoulder and back injuries in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. The team elevated kicker Anders Carlson from the practice squad to replace him.
San Francisco also activated safety Jaylen Mahoney from the practice squad on Saturday.
