San Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pearsall hauled in the pass from quarterback Brock Purdy and sprinted into the end zone for the 46-yard touchdown, giving the visiting 49ers an early 7-0 lead.

The 49ers selected Pearsall with the No. 31 overall pick in this year's draft. The rookie missed the start of the season after being shot in the chest during a robbery attempt on August 31 but was activated by San Francisco on October 19.
Pearsall entered Sunday's game with seven receptions for 59 yards through two games and one start.
