San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan spoke with reporters via a conference call on Monday, a day after the team's 23-20 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The only injury initially reported post-game was to cornerback Renardo Green, who exited in the second half with a toe injury.

Fortunately, Green's injury doesn't appear to be serious, and the rookie cornerback is considered day-to-day.

Shanahan also noted that tight end George Kittle experienced some hamstring irritation and will be re-evaluated on Wednesday, though Shanahan didn't seem overly concerned. Additionally, punter Mitch Wishnowsky had a back flare-up, and the team will explore treatment options and assess his condition over the next couple of days.

Nick Bosa played through a hip injury, which he felt affected his effectiveness against the Buccaneers.

When asked if Bosa came out of the game in good shape, Shanahan responded, "Yeah, he came out all right. I'm sure it's sore and stuff. Anytime you miss most of the week of practice and everything, that's going to affect you. He battled hard throughout the game, and I thought he was real impressive there on those last two drives, the one getting the sack, and a couple of run plays that he did there inside the 10, where I thought he did a good job, too."

The 49ers are optimistic about wide receiver Chris Conley's (hamstring) potential return this week, though defensive tackle Kevin Givens' (groin) status remains uncertain.

Cornerback Charvarius Ward may also return this week, although the situation remains fluid as the 49ers are giving him as much time as needed following the passing of his daughter.

"I think there's a chance for him to come back this week," Shanahan said. "I was talking to him over the weekend. I haven't got a chance to talk to him today. I'll probably do that sooner than later, and see where he's at, but I've got no updates right now."

Shanahan noted that he doesn't anticipate opening the practice window for linebacker Dre Greenlaw this week. Greenlaw is still working to return from the torn Achilles he sustained in February during the Super Bowl.
