The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed running back Patrick Taylor Jr. to the practice squad. To make room on the practice squad, the team released running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn.
The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundown.
Taylor Jr. (6-2, 217) originally signed with the team on April 8, 2024, where he appeared in eight games and registered seven carries for 25 yards and tallied one reception for 12 yards prior to being waived by the team on November 9.
Vaughn (5-10, 214) originally signed to the team's practice squad on August 7, 2024.
