The San Francisco 49ers have released the list of inactive players for their Week 13 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. These seven players will not suit up for the game.
Inactives:
- QB Brandon Allen
- G Aaron Banks (concussion)
- DE Nick Bosa (hip, oblique)
- DT Jordan Elliott (concussion)
- LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (knee)
- CB Deommodore Lenoir (knee)
- T Trent Williams (ankle)
On Friday, the San Francisco 49ers ruled out several key players for Sunday night's game against the Buffalo Bills. The list includes left guard Aaron Banks, defensive end Nick Bosa, defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, cornerback Deommodore Lenoir, and tackle Trent Williams.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw, who began practicing this week after his 21-day activation window opened, was not activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list. He is attempting to return from the Achilles injury he suffered in February.
Quarterback Brock Purdy, initially listed as questionable, is active and will start against Buffalo. Purdy missed last week's matchup against the Green Bay Packers due to a shoulder injury but showed enough progress in practice to return for Week 13.
Quarterback Brandon Allen, who started in place of Purdy last week, is notably inactive for Sunday night's game. As a result, Josh Dobbs will serve as Purdy's backup against the Bills.
The 49ers made several roster moves on Saturday to address their depleted lineup. Cornerback Nick McCloud was promoted from the practice squad to the active roster, filling the spot vacated by recently waived wide receiver Ronnie Bell.
Additionally, the team elevated linebacker Jalen Graham and offensive lineman Sebastian Gutierrez from the practice squad, making them available for the prime-time contest.
