San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall is among six players nominated for the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week award. Pearsall shined in Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions, recording a career-high 141 receiving yards and a touchdown on eight receptions. He also contributed two carries for six rushing yards.
Selected by the 49ers with the 31st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the first-year wideout has registered 25 catches for 331 yards and two touchdowns through 10 games, including three starts, this season. Pearsall missed the first six games of the season while on the non-football injury list.
The other nominees for this week's award are Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving, Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey, and New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers.
