San Francisco 49ers ILB NaVorro Bowman went down with a non-contact injury during the third quarter of the team's game against the Dallas Cowboys at Levi's Stadium. The Pro Bowl and All-Pro linebacker was rushing the line of scrimmage.
Bowman went down on the field grabbing his left ankle and received attention from the 49ers' medical staff. He walked off of the field with a limp and some help from team trainers. Bowman was replaced in the game by Nick Bellore.
Bowman was taken via cart to the 49ers locker room. The team announced that he would remain out with a "lower leg injury."

Following the game, Bowman was seen in a walking boot.
